    We’ve teamed up with one of our trusted fishmongers, George Cleave, to bring Grub Club members an exciting afternoon of fish preparation and lunch at Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen.

    George has been a fishmonger for over 16 years, and having grown up and worked in the village, he is a stalwart of the Port Isaac community. In 2018 he set up on his own and established George Cleave Cornish Fishmongers, located just across the street from Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen. His passion for seafood and his understanding of the market is invaluable to our restaurants and he is one of our exceptional links to the day’s freshest catch.

    You’ll have the chance to watch George demonstrate filleting and preparing a selection of seafood, as well as getting hands-on with filleting yourself. The class will last roughly one an a half hours, followed by a slightly less hands-on, lunch at Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen, where you’ll experience a selection of seafood dishes to share.

    All the equipment for the afternoon will be provided, and you’ll be able to take away the fish you’ve prepared after your lunch. This experience is open to Outlaw’s Grub Club members only, and we have space for just six members. Reservations can be made by ticket purchase only.
