Band of Outlaw’s – Rosie Barclay

This month we caught up with Rosie to find out just what makes her tick! We asked her those ten questions…

1 – What do you do?
Front of house at Restaurant Nathan Outlaw.

2 – How long have you been an Outlaw for?
9 months.

3 – What do you do in your spare time?
I love swimming in Bude Sea Pool and trying to surf! But if I am not in the water I enjoy a good yoga session and eating a delicious feast my husband spends most of the weekend cooking up.

4 – Can you remember your first day?
I can definitely remember feeling utterly bewildered at how I was ever going to remember everything, but mostly incredibly happy to be a part of something so exciting.

5 – Tell us the best dish you have ever eaten (either at Nathan Outlaw or anywhere else)?
When in Tuscany we stayed at a farmhouse and one lunch time the family generously served us some of what they were having for lunch and it was the most delicious bowl of rabbit ragu and fresh pasta I have ever tasted washed down with a bottle of their homemade wine.

6 – What is your favourite drink?
I am learning so much about wine at the moment so I am really enjoying trying new wines. If I had to choose a bottle right now it would be Jaa-Bru 2016 Malbec made by BLANKbottle winery.

7 – What music do you like and who is your favourite artist?
My go to music would be a bit of old school hip-hop or classic rock, but I listen to BBC 6 Music for some new music inspiration.

8 – Who would you invite to dinner?
Jack Black.

9 – What’s your favourite ingredient?

10 – If you could eat anywhere in the world, where would it be?
