The oldest IPA still brewed in the UK, it was first released in 1829, titled “East India Pale Ale”. The name changed in the 1870’s when the white shield logo was in place. Patron’s referred to it as “Whiteshield”. Worthington officially changed the name in the 1950’s. A clear, dark copper ale, with a caramel, floral and earthy hop aroma. It has a medium body, gently carbonated and has a hint of caramel. It’s great with steak.
